This weekend LouvainMUN had the chance to participate in the MUNLawS conference in Ljubljana organised by the Faculty of Law and sponsored by NATO 👨🏫
The delegates participated in different committees where they could defend the interests of their respective countries, negotiate, debate and write resolutions. 💼
It was the 10th anniversary of the conference and the organisation was exceptional, between social dinners, coffee breaks, lunches everything was organised to perfection by the MUNLawS team which we thank a lot (special thanks to Gal Veber and Mark Jeršič) ✨
Thank you also to Ph.D. Vasilka Sancin, the founder and president of the project.
It was an outstanding experience on a human level as well as on a professional and academic level.
Two of our students were recognised for their ability:
- Emilien Mercenier was awarded the outstanding delegate award for participating in the UNSC.
- Lisette Melick was awarded best arbitrator for her participation in the OSCE Court of Arbitration.
Our delegates are going home with a lot of memories and looking forward to their next conference in the next semester.
Other more detailed publications on our delegates and committees will follow in the next days, stay tuned!
