LouvainMUN has been participating in MUN conferences around the world since 2008, we have traveled all over Europe to participate in the most interesting gatherings. This week we take a look back at our last three conferences in 2021-2022.
MUNLAWS 2021- Ljubljana, Slovenia 🇸🇰
The MUNLAWS conference is organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana, in partnership with NATO.
We were wonderfully welcomed despite the covid situation which did not allow to make the classical socials. We participated in several committees: EUCO, UNSC, HRC, ICJ, ...
We had the chance to have two awarded students:
- Elise Reyns : ICJ Best Judge
- Emilien Mercenier : UNSC Honourable Mention
MEDMUN 2022 - Menton, France 🇫🇷
For the second conference of the year, we went to Menton at the Cote d'Azur. This event is of great renown organized by science po menton. We had the chance to listen to Mr. Staffan De Mistura, illustrious UN diplomat.
The socials were sick, the gala night was organized in the Casino de Beaulieu, A mythical casino just a few steps from Monaco, it was an unforgettable evening.
We were divided in different committees in English and French and we were lucky to have two students recognized as the best delegates of their committees:
- Bernardo Forte: Best Delegate Award
- Taha Mouline : Best Delegate Award

MUNSA 2022 - Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸
This summer, we did not stop and a special delegation of alumni and members went to Barcelona to participate in MUNSA in the University Pompeu Fabra.
Fun fact, it was 4 generations of Head Delegate that came together for this trip, from 2018 to 2022.
