What is LouvainMUN?LouvainMUN is a student association open to all UCLouvain students dedicated to empowering young people both professionally and personally through the Model United Nations (MUN) framework. The LouvainMUN experience seeks to complement higher education in a unique team environment: Throughout the academic year, weekly intensive training sessions, guest lectures and workshops in English equip members with the necessary tools to improve knowledge, understanding and critical thinking about global issues and diplomacy while boosting both personal growth and professional profile through the acquisition of highly valuable soft skills. This involves a thorough preparation to participate in at least two international MUN conferences. In addition to leverage training, this opportunity enables LouvainMUN members to travel, make connections, expand their horizons and to work in cultural diversity. You'll also get the opportunity to support the board in coordinating our activities and further developping the association in sponsoring, communication, events or logistics & HR. It doesn't take a lot of time, it's a great way to immerse yourself even more in the LouvainMUN experience, to acquire extra skills and to have a loads of fun!

How much time do I need to invest when I join ?LouvainMUN organises a lot of activites throughout the year* including weekly training sessions, workshops, events with alumni and guest lecturers as well as to prepare and participate in at least two international MUN conferences of 3 days. In addition, as an entourage member in sponsoring, communication, events or logistics & HR, you'll assist and support the board in coordinating our activities and further developping the association. Being a member is thus an activity that requires time and personal investment (about 5 hours/week + 2x3 days abroad) but that can be easily combined with studies*, sports and other extra-academic activities. *from September until end of November and from February untill end of April with special arrangements for off-session and mid-term exams.

However, you're welcome to join us for our weekly sessions.
